Classroom Audio Troubleshooting
Step 1: Check that the HDMI cable is connected properly to both the Epson pilot and your laptop.
Step 2: Confirm that your laptop’s sound output is set to “EPSON PJ.”
Go to System Preferences > Sound > Output and select EPSON PJ. If you do not see EPSON PJ as an option, the cable is likely either not plugged in properly or not working.
Step 3: Confirm that Epson Speakers are turned on
There should be a light on the speaker with volume knobs indicating the speaker is awake, on and ready to be used. The speakers will go to sleep if not in use for many hours. To wake up the speakers turn the volume down counterclockwise to turn the speaker off, and then turn it clockwise to turn it on again.
If you’ve gone through all of these steps and sound is still not working, please submit a helpdesk ticket by going to helpdesk.friendsseminary.org or emailing helpdesk@friendsseminary.org. You may also dial TECH (8324) on your classroom phone to call the tech office.
